Kelly grew up on the soccer fields of the Ohio Midwest. With four siblings all very close in age, her natural competitive spirit was nurtured from early on. Following a hiatus from group sports that lasted into her college years, she was quick to jump into training for a half marathon at a friend’s suggestion. She has since completed several half and full marathons and, in following the footsteps of her adventurous husband, has branched out into triathlon, kayaking and climbing that is only occasionally sketchy. She prefers to keep her feet on the ground and encouraging others to follow their own athletic passions.
