Raised in Truckee CA, Rob was introduced to a mountain lifestyle at a young age: learning to ski at 4 years old, taking his first week long backpacking trip at 5, and learning to boulder at 7. Though the mountains will always be home, somewhere along the way Rob realized that shoveling snow isn’t very much fun, and that it was time to head to the beach. Spending the better part of the last 8 years living in Santa Barbara CA nursing a pretty serious surfing habit, Rob has rekindled his interest in climbing and now spends virtually all his spare time on the rocks. If not climbing you’ll find Rob at his accounting day job, working on his urban farming project, brewing beer, or bragging that he’s had his Nalgene water bottle since he was 6 and that it’s been to 15 different countries (which he seems to think is cool).
