The UL3 is the big brother of the Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 to that we did a full hands-on review of. The UL2 got our Top Pick award because it is one of the lightest tents out there. How is the UL3 different than the UL2?

Both tents have otherwise very similar designs and construction.
Both get similar reviews. Which one should you get? We feel that if you are getting a light tent, you should get the absolute lightest one that fits your needs. For most people, that will be the UL2. But if you want more space or are in a group of 3, the UL3 is the way to go.
