Metolius Bomb Shelter Double Fly Review

This is the only rain fly made for the Metolius Bomb Shelter Double Ledge. It has all the key features of a standard fly; tent pole, reinforcements at the wear spots, and a quick deploy bag. The main difference is that it comes with a window and is more expensive. The Metolius rain fly has unique clip-in points so that water can't wick in on the webbing. However, you can fix the issue on rain flys that have webbing clip-in points by dipping them in Plasti Dip. This fly is at an awkward price point. It is around the same price as the Black Diamond Deluxe Cliff Cabana Double Fly that has a ton more features and is better suited to serious storms. It would be nice if Metolius lost the window and made a version of this fly that was $100 cheaper.
